October's Theme: Fluid Spine
Dancing Landscapes is an embodied exploration guided by movement artist, Chloe. A space to let the body speak before the mind.
Working with the theme Fluid Spine, this four-part series is for those interested in a progressive way to deepen your relationship with your body and expand your range of motion. Fluid Spine is focused on sourcing movement from the midline and how that affects the rest of the body, inviting fluidity with a structured practice of primal movement prompts, before leading into free improvisation.
Each session begins with internal or bodily sensing, leading into spatial or external awareness, and connecting both internal and external worlds through movement, connection, and guided embodied exploration.
All levels, abilities, and bodies are welcome. Please ensure that you are able to attend all classes, as makeup sessions are not available.
Tuesdays, 7pm (75 mins), on 5, 12, 19, 26 Oct.
Thursdays, 7pm (75 mins), on 7, 14, 21, 28 Oct. Must have attended a drop-in class or the 4-week course before.
